Why girls matter
Being apart of a community allows for the energy that you contain inside of you, as a unique soul, to impact the world for the greater good. This sounds hyperbolic, a little dramatic and quite frankly, too big, doesn’t it? That’s what energy does - sorry, that’s what YOUR energy does. It knows no bounds, it doesn’t just exist in your body, mind, heart, gut, etc - it defies all vessels and is meant to be in the world, in the universe. Your specific energetic footprint does its best work serving other souls. And when you get together with others, a girl chat, a family function, a work happy hour or team building event (and everything in between and beyond), you are creating IMPACT. And I am of the mind that as a woman, getting together with other woman is the highest version of that vibration. We are powerful, that’s obvious, but when we commune, speak to each other, share stories of harrowing adventures, tears, laughs, when our voices unite, we move mountains. We are not meant to live in isolation, we are NOT silos to be managed, controlled, impressed upon and used - and eventually discarded. The narrative for groups of women is dictated by systems that understand TOO WELL the power we hold. And that power needs to be taken back. Get that girls trip out of the group chat, book that dinner, have that night of giggles and wine. Do what you need to do, forgive, apologize and understand that you, my dear girl, are an amalgamation of all the women before and after you. We contain galaxies, multitudes - act like it.
See you next time.
