Speaking archetypes.

I am every woman. We are every woman before us, with us and the ones that come after. We are all of our generational curses, blessings, gifts and everything in between. And this contains its own multitudes. So why do we love to just cut ourselves down to only the, for example, Madonna and The Whore? Why are we just either the Virgin or the Lady of the Night? Because our society sees women as these one dimensional characters to keep us from our magic, to keep us from accessing the universes that we possess. So let’s look at some of the universes in the form of these kind of palpable and approachable archetypes. Ofcourse, the uniqueness of each one differs, contains multi millions of nuances and story lines, but let’s take a look at the some of the foundations that we contain.

1) The Romantic - this is like rose coloured glasses personified. She is pretty and sensual and poetic and has hearts in her eyes. She is naive but loves her knowledge of every 90s rom-com ever. She is educated in frills and lovely little thrills that gets that heart beating and those butterflies fluttering. Her gut guides her and her heart soothes her.

2) The Oldest Daughter - she is the team you want to be on. She guides and nourishes and is hard to pin down because she has a million different priorities and you better believe she has a colour coded system (probably in a spreadsheet). She takes care of all the mothers in her life and has a special affinity for younger sisters that need her guidance and example. She’s tired but always put together

3) The Wise Elder - this has nothing to do with age because she’s wise beyond her years. The sentiment of ‘old soul’ is totally about her and she offers this quiet guidance that is magnetic and draws people to her. Her psychic power is honed and mastered to a tee and she always just KNOWS.

This is not an exhaustive list by any means but I hope it gives you some idea of what you are made of and that you are not defined by anything except what you are feeling in that moment. The world bends to you - act like it.
